Old Man's Cave State Park

Old Man's Cave is located in the Hocking Hills Region of Ohio and only a short drive from Oakwood Cabins. Thousands of years of water flowing through the valley have cut away the Blackhand Sandstone and created this recess cave that visitors from across the world have traveled to see. From waterfalls and rugged cliff faces to unique bridges cut from stone and deep tunnels make Old Man's Cave a must-see when visiting the Hocking Hills.

The park at Old Man's Cave is open year-around, but it is closed from dusk to dawn. Maps, brochures and park information can be acquired at the park visitor center. Special events are offered during the year along with such unique programs as the annual Winter Hike in January where thousands of hikers walk the trail from Old Man's Cave through Cedar Falls and then to Ash Cave-an almost 6 mile trip.
