Policies

Your health and safety are paramount to us, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. We ensure that each cabin is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized using approved products and adhering to Health Department guidelines to keep you safe.

Booking Policy

  • Minimum Stay: A 2-night minimum is required for all stays.

  • Maximum Occupancy: We allow a maximum of 2 guests per cabin.

  • Weekends: Defined as Thursday/Friday, Friday/Saturday, or Saturday/Sunday.

  • Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking.

  • Holidays: Holidays are charged at a minimum of $250.00 per night. Oakwood Cabins recognizes the following as holidays. These require a 2-night minimum stay.

    • New Year’s

    • Valentine’s Day

    • 4th of July

    • Thanksgiving

    • Christmas

    • Memorial Day

    • Labor Day

Cancellation Policy

  • Refunds: A full refund minus a $75 service fee is given for cancellations made more than 30 days before the scheduled arrival. No refunds or credits are given for cancellations less than 30 days before the scheduled arrival unless the cabin is re-booked.

  • Travel Insurance: Consider purchasing travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances.

Maintenance and Repairs

We strive to maintain all cabin facilities in working order. Please report any issues immediately, though repairs may not be possible during your stay due to external factors. No refunds will be given for mechanical failures. We will do everything possible to repair any issues as they arise.

Cabin Policies

  • No Candles, Pets, or Indoor Smoking: Violations will incur a $300 cleaning fee.

  • Illegal Substances: Illicit substances are strictly prohibited on the property.

  • Subletting: Subletting is not permitted under any circumstances.

Seasonal Considerations

  • Fireplace: The seasonal fireplace is available from October 1 to April 30.

Liability and Damages

  • Accidents: Renters assume all risks and responsibilities for accidents occurring on the property.

  • Hot Tub Use: A $50 fee will be charged if the hot tub requires cleaning due to misuse.

  • Damage Liability: Renters are responsible for all damages and misuse of the facilities.

Cell Phone Service

Cell phone service is generally available but not guaranteed within our cabins.
